About Project
The goal was to create a cover that alludes to the story in a historical art style. She is crying and peaceful. The white lotus, a symbol of purity in Japan connects to the fact that her purity is a commodity that people seek. To show beauty and an almost quiet sadness.

Inspired by the art style German and Scottish Art Nouveau. The shapes (white lotus, fans, eyes) were created to symbolize themes and important aspects of the book.

Target Audience
Women 25-30 living in New York. She is a journalist. Loves old romance and black and white films. A loner who loves cats.
